Marvin C Nordgaarden 19 425 N Division got two years probation on a grand larceny charge for stealing a television from a Spokane store in July 1973.

Animals Hit Bonner County in Vehicle Collisions
The Bonner County Sheriff's Office received two reports of animals killed after being struck by automobiles yesterday. Harold Overland of Farm to Market Road said his cattle was killed by a car early Monday. Ed Long reported about $200 damage to his vehicle after striking a horse three miles north of Sandpoint on Highway 95.

Fire at Westmond truck stop causes minor damage
An early morning fire at the old truck stop in Westmond caused minor fire and smoke damage. Reported at 2:41 a.m. to the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office, it was confined to a mattress and the unoccupied building saw no injuries after a Sandpoint Fire Department firefighter removed the burning mattress.
