Youth Jailed in Bonner County on Forgery and Larceny Charges

A 15 year old Sandpoint youth was jailed in Bonner County jail Monday morning pending police investigation of multiple forgery and larceny charges. A detention hearing was held in First District Court yesterday on the matter.

Man loses fingers in mill accident at Brand S Mill

Bruce Casey aged 19 suffered the loss of three fingers when a quad saw was accidentally activated while he assisted in checking a chain inside the Brand S Mill. A sheriff's spokesman said a sawyer started the machine as Casey reached into the area between chain and sprocket.
