Project Engineer Ken Coffman of the Army Corps at Albeni Falls Dam said Lake Pend Oreille rose in early month due to heavy rains and snowmelt. The lake sits at about 2054.46 feet and will be operated between 2054 and 2055 feet for the rest of winter to protect kokanee spawning along the shore.
