Toys for Tots Drive Tops $3,000 With Local Gifts

Thefts Reported At Schweitzer Basin
Three weekend skiers at Schweitzer Basin reported thefts in Bonner County. John Hewitt of Spokane said his skis vanished between 12 15 and 12 20 yesterday, John Winsy of Sandpoint reported theft Saturday, and Donald E Papineau of Moscow said the glove box was pried open Saturday with $60 taken from his wallet.

Was It a UFO sighting near Baldy Mountain reported by Was It or Wasn't It, with a red light drifting toward Sandpoint airport. Mrs Kelley said the light appeared silent with no aircraft hum and vanished near the airport after 6 20 p m. Airport official Walt Williams noted last landing at 4 08 p m and described typical night aircraft lights.
