Logging Truck and Car Collide on U S Highway 2 in Idaho
A Louisiana Pacific logging truck and a passenger car collided on U S Highway 2 between Sandpoint and Priest River around 5 53 p m. The truck driver was unharmed while the car driver may have a broken leg with minor injuries. Idaho State Patrol called an ambulance and two wreckers assisted in removing the damaged vehicles.

Idaho Public Utilities Commission approved a $58 million annual rate increase for Washington Water Power, to start December 16. The hike passes higher wholesale gas costs to customers, adding about 3 percent to Bonner County bills and increasing the average residential bill by roughly $9.34 from $44.84.
