Haldeman Denies Cash Payments Tied to Watergate Burglars
Washington UPI reports former White House chief of staff H R Haldeman testified under cross examination that he did not believe cash payments were made to Watergate burglars to protect Nixon’s re election. He said he did not know the full Watergate story until March 1973 and returned for a fourth day of testimony. The court discussed release of the sequestered jury and written questions from Nixon’s doctors.
