Carl Formoe 80 died Saturday at his Sandpoint home. Born February 12 1889 in Menominee Wisconsin he married Berit Rokstad November 28 1929 in Minneapolis. A World War I veteran he belonged to VFW Barracks American Legion and Lutheran Church. Survives include his wife a stepdaughter three brothers and three sisters. Funeral Wednesday December 3 at 10 00 a m from Moon Chapel. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
Kimberly Puckett two year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Raymond Puckett Jr Golden Dale Washington died Monday in Washington. She is survived by her parents one sister Anla Rae Puckett and grandparents Mrs Lucille Burpee of Portland and Mr and Mrs W H Graham of Vancouver Washington. Funeral services Thursday December 4 at 2 00 p m Moon Chapel with Rev Orville Ground officiating. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery.
Harold J. Westfall 75 died Sunday November 30 at his Samuels Gold Creek home. Born December 12, 1893 in Kansas he lived in Bonner County since 1925 and had recently settled here permanently after years moved about. Surviving two sons Glenn and Paul daughters Ruth Eastman Maxine Watts one sister and a late daughter Jewell Dunham. Service Friday December 5 at 10:00 am from Moon Chapel with Rev James F Doak officiating. Interment Pinecrest Memorial Park. Also note license plates and stickers expire midnight December 31 1969 with no grace period per Commissioner Warner C Mills.

Federal judge in Austin dismissed Madalyn Murray O hair s suit to ban space prayers by astronauts Apollo 8 11 12. The decision held the First Amendment requires neutrality not hostility to religion and did not infringe civil rights by Bible readings and prayers during moon missions.
