J D Johnson of Kurt Salmon Associates says a sport and winter clothing maker he represents is considering Sandpoint as a site for a large plant, with Coeur d Alene also in contention. A 125 person female labor force is needed, training to be provided by Idaho under a state vocational program. A 6,000 square foot training center could start immediately, with expansion to 30,000 to 40,000 square feet and eventually up to 80,000 square feet.
