Registration is planned at Clark Fork High School Idaho. Juniors and seniors on Wednesday Aug 23 from 1 to 4 pm. Freshmen and sophomores on Thursday Aug 24 from 1 to 4 pm. Any students who missed dates may come Friday Aug 25 from 1 to 4 pm.

Beach Concert Placed At Sandpoint Beach Sunday

Seattle district of the Army Corps of Engineers and the Sand Point Chamber of Commerce sponsor a vocal concert on Sunday August 27 at 2 15 p m at the city beach. The Sing Out Spokane group a 30 voice mixed chorus will perform a free program for Sandpoint residents.

Christian Peter Lund 83 died August 21 at Bonner General Hospital. Born September 27 1888 in Charles Mix South Dakota he married Ella Marie Ernest May 14 1915 in Oacoma South Dakota. They moved to Sandpoint area in 1971 after dairy farming and log work in Selle Elmira and Grouse Creek. Survived by wife Ella Marie at Sandpoint Manor five daughters three sons 24 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren one brother Tony Lund.

Albert Babe Rogers 41 of Sandpoint died August 20 in Palo Alto California. A rosary is set for August 24 at Moon Chapel Sandpoint followed by a Funeral Mass August 25 at Saint Josephs Church with Rev John O Donovan. Burial at Pinecrest. He was a member of Saint Josephs Church BPOE 1376 and worked as a used car salesman and manager of the Sandpoint Elks Golf Course.
