Andrus to Seek Shuttle Plane for Idaho State Travel
Idaho Governor Cecil Andrus says he will ask the legislature to fund an aircraft for state use to shuttle employees between Boise and distant cities. He estimates a used twin could cost 100 000 to 150 000 dollars, with future savings from reduced travel time and motel costs. He notes Idaho lacks a state aircraft unlike Utah and North Dakota and cites poor intra state air service as justification.
