Firing Of Siem Planned By City Officials

Mayor Les Brown and the Sandpoint City Council confirmed Siem would have been dismissed from the police force if he had not resigned earlier Monday. Form Approved By Council For Sewer Hookup Requests

City council approved a form for residents outside city limits to request sewer hookups via annexation. Councilman Bob Kalb led the Public Works Committee in this decision. The form binds heirs to properties, and each hookup costs 400 dollars with a 1200 dollar downpayment required.

Four federal suits in Boise contest the Idaho Forest Practices Act and Land Use Planning Act of 1975.
