Obituary of Gertude Ripke
Gertude Boertje Ripke died at her Sandpoint home on April 26 1973 aged 85. Funeral services will be held April 30 at 1 p m at Moon Chapel with interment at Pinecrest Cemetery. She was born December 12 1887 in Dubbeldan South Holland and moved from Holland to Pella Iowa in 1892. She married Henry Christ Ripke on July 18 1923 in Moscow Idaho and the couple later operated Ripke's Grocery and Meats in Sandpoint. She is survived by son Ernest Ripke Spokane daughter Jewell Belote Sagle four grandchildren four great grandchildren and sisters Jeanett and Adriane of Pella Iowa.
