Historical Society Holds Annual Dinner in Bonners Ferry
About 80 people attended the Historical Society’s fifth annual business meeting and dinner at the Community Hall. Guest speaker former Idaho Governor Don Samuelson spoke on his six years of diplomatic and Department of Transportation duties in Alaska and the Canary Islands. Old Time Fiddlers provided entertainment as Frank Wright and Jim Hunt were reelected to the board. new trustees include Virginia Overland and others from Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry. A weekend photo exhibit on Idaho’s architectural heritage drew about 50 viewers, featuring Boise City Hall and 19th century homestead buildings.
