Hit And Run Nets Charges Ahead Washington Man Arrested
Morris L. Reynolds a 57 year old from Washington was arrested after a hit and run near Highway 2 west of here. Reynolds faced charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene after his car side swiped Idaho State Police Patrolman Harry Biffle’s patrol car causing about $100 in damage. Riffle pursued and detained Reynolds about three and a half miles from the incident. Bond set at $400.

PP&L Seeks Idaho Electric Rate Increase

Farmers suffer as co op managers push profits over members
A private study by the Agribusiness Accountability Project accuses corporate minded managers of taking over large farm co operatives. It says managers favor expansion over cash rebates and that farmer member control is indirect, weakening democratic oversight and harming farmers and consumers alike. Nixon Returns No Comment On Possible Negligence Charge
IRS Commissioner Donald Alexander refused to comment on whether negligence charges could be found in President Nixon's income tax returns for his first four years in office.
