Three Bonner County accidents report no injuries
No injuries were reported in three Bonner County one vehicle accidents this week two caused by slick roads. Drivers included Robert Ole Olson 17 of Ponderay Elven A Housekeeper 61 of Sandpoint and Edward H Quinn 78 of Priest River with vehicles leaving the road overturns and property damage near Dover U S 2 the ditch and Oldtown.

Physical Fitness Evaluated For Fire Fighting Duties
Forest Service employees across Montana and surrounding regions may be assigned to fire duties. A May to October fitness test will determine eligibility for red card fire season assignments such as fire boss and safety officer. Tests are developed by Missoula center and University of Montana lab with minimum fitness scores set per job.

Westside Fire District forms trio to meet with partners

Communist troops threatened Saigon from two sides and moved down the coast virtually unchecked as thousands fled. South Vietnamese forces abandoned positions faster than the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong, with a 10,000-man division reportedly vanished from Tay Ninh Province thirty miles north west of Saigon. Front lines reached within 100 miles of Saigon by midday while a second threat formed west to north of the capital.
