Augusta Ga Sept 13 Owing to high cotton prices the Sibley and King mills will close next Saturday and Langley will run on half time The Sibley mill employs about 800 workers the King mill about 1050 and Langley about 1100 All told over 3000 workers will be affected with others noncommittal as prices and demand shift The Enterprise president Vordery says mills nationwide will shut down if conditions remain unchanged
