Tuesday night fire discovered around midnight at Sandersville Shoe Company store. Stock and interior work suffered partial destruction while smoke and water caused additional damage. Mrs L B Holt hosted a Thursday evening gathering for daughter Miss Ollie Belle Holt from 8 30 to 11 30. Guests arrived to a decorated lower figor with plants and blossoms, were received on the porch, and served punch by Misses Irwin Garbutt and Holt girls. Nearly twenty couples attended, with engagement cards and songs, ice cream and cake served at 11, prior to Miss Holt leaving for Wesleyan soon.
