Woman fires at French Public Works Minister near Elysee Palace
In Paris on July 106 a woman and a 10 year old child attempted to kill Minister Baudin of Public Works aboard his carriage to a cabinet meeting at the Elysee palace. The assailant, named Olgowska and living at Nanterre, said she fired into the air to gain attention for her husband Count Olyewska a naturalized Frenchman and government receiver in Paris who claims funds from the foreign affairs ministry. The minister was unharmed and the woman was arrested.
