Saloonkeeper and waitress slain in Buffalo saloon murder
Peter Forrester a Buffalo saloonkeeper and Marie Smith a 92 year old waitress were killed in a Thursday dawn stabbing. George Hodson a painter and former lover of Smith was arrested minutes after the crime and allegedly stabbed Forrester and Smith after a dispute over Smith leaving Forrester. Forrester aged 60 died at the hospital after surgery. Hodson was covered in blood but claimed amnesia.
