Sandersville guests flocked to Judge and Mrs. B. T. Rawlings home last Thursday for a lavish reception in honor of their son Ralph Rawlings and his bride. Four to five hundred attendees, including many out of town visitors, enjoyed music, art displays by Mrs. B. T. Rawlings, a buffet supper, tea service, and cordial hospitality from the hosts and guests.

The two day event sold about 2500 worth of goods including shoes hats clothing and dry goods, with extra salesmen kept busy. doors stayed locked at times to manage the crush.
