Tennille Georgia January 12 J L Kelley a wealthy Washington county farmer asked a Tennille warehouse to move 168 bales of his cotton to his wagons for transport to his farm a mile away He will not sell for less than ten cents and will keep the boll for higher prices He has built a plantation warehouse to save storage while awaiting the advance This shows planters in the county holding the staple for better prices rather than selling at current offerings.

Negro Youth Shot by Cousin in Davisboro Ga
A 12 year old boy, son of Sidney Mavis, was shot to death by his cousin near their home six miles west of Davisboro. The cousin says the shooting was an accident. The boy died after telling his mother that his cousin shot him. the shooter turned over to authorities. All involved are identified as colored.
