Hon J W Renfroe Dies In Our City
Hon J W Renfroe died in this city last Monday after a brave fight against illness. He served Washington county as legislator tax collector and held posts as Comptroller General State Treasurer and Atlanta postmaster. Survived by wife and two grandchildren, funeral held at Judge Rawlings residence with Rev L W Colson and burial in the city cemetery.

Notice from the Office of Commissioners of Roads and Revenues dated April 19 1906 states that unless good cause is shown by May 17 1906 a described road will be opened as a second clean county road. The route starts at Little Ohoopee Creek on Balls Ferry road along district line between districts and runs north through lands of several owners for about one half mile.
