Home Ec Girls Host Mothers Tea and Pencil Promo

The Home Economics Club hosted a mothers tea on November 25 in their new dining room. Students showcased school colors purple and gold on a patriotic pencil promoting club fundraisers and dining room improvements. Members from Mmes Hoover Fagg Brown Creamer Darley Thornton Mosley Henry Sampson Edmondson Oliver Way Halden DeWolfe Mann Kim Kirk and Misses Kress Bobbie Behrens attended. The girls urged buying the pencil and magazines like Saturday Evening Post and Ladies Home Journal to fund a department dining set and events.

Christmas Charity Box By Home Ec Club Volunteers

The Home Ec club continues a year old custom of each girl contributing to a charity box. The box will be turned over to San Saba relief workers to be distributed to those in need at Christmas. The club urges every girl to help in any way she can.

Big Plans for H E Work Day in December
