San Marino Congregational United Church of Christ invites pets and people to a free Blessing of the Pets on Sunday October 5 2008 from 1130 AM to 200 PM in the church parking lot at 2560 Huntington Drive San Marino The event follows 10 AM worship and 11 AM to 1130 AM refreshments and features children blessing pets with holy water.

Suspect Arrested After Devonport Road Robbery
San Marino Police arrested 18 year old Victor Rufino Vallardes of Los Angeles Tuesday after he allegedly robbed a Devonport Road home of cash and jewelry totaling more than 20,000 dollars. A neighbor spotted the suspect on a bicycle near Devonport Road and San Gabriel Boulevard and saw him hide the bike before entering a second residence. Police, aided by Pasadena Police helicopter support, responded to the scene following a 911 call from the resident.

SMHS Robotics Team Wins FIRST Competition
