Ducks Cause Traffic Halt In San Marino
A dozen stray ducklings appeared on Del Mar Boulevard at noon Tuesday stopping traffic as Bryant Air Conditioning workers nearby watched. The San Marino Police Department corralled the quackers with a cardboard box and tarpaulin and took them to the police station. Lt. Chris Petersen confirmed the incident to The Tribune.

Local Scouts Brighten Easter Sunday for Hospital Patients
Girl Scout Troop 193 from San Marino Service Unite delivered one hundred Easter baskets to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The 5th grade girls from Valentine School and Coolidge School earned the Bronze Award and began the path to the Gold Award. Brownie Troop 235 helped assemble baskets on Good Friday and staff were overwhelmed by the delivery. The hospital issued a Certificate of Congratulations.
