Stephenson Named San Marino City Manager in July

Police Operator Foils San Marino Bank Robbery Attempt
San Marino police and a quick thinking bank operator stopped an armed robbery at the Barclays Bank on Huntington Drive on June 14. Officers Roger Erwin and Ge Ovich pursued the suspect as he exited the rear with a chrome pistol, cash, and receipts, taking him into custody after ordering him to drop the weapon. The FBI will prosecute.

Community Chest distributes fund applications to agencies

Four performances of the operetta The Chocolate Soldier will raise funds for refurnishing San Marino High School auditorium and Little Theater.
