New Bus Planned for San Marino Students
San Marino pupils attending South Pasadena Senior High will ride a new GMC bus starting next September. The bus, from Orrin Fox of Pasadena, costs 90358 and carries 56 passengers with a 250 allowance on the old vehicle. A sprinkling system for the girls field was let to Thompson Sprinkling Co for 1580, and Ted Merrill was hired to do site improvements at 17700, including covered shelters, fences, retaining walls and a dining pavilion.

Dr Pottenger Recovers After Irvine Ranch Crash
Dr. Pottenger and Meredith Moore survived a collision on Irvine ranch land near Santa Ana while returning from San Diego after a yellowtail fishing trip.
