Mrs. Alice Freeman Dies After 42 Years Local Resident
Mrs. Alice Freeman of Kerns Avenue died June 2 after 42 years in the area. A Jerseyville, Illinois native and Third Order of St. Francis member, she is survived by son Louis C. Freeman Jr. and daughter Marie Mullin, plus eight grandchildren. Rosary was Sunday. Requiem Mass Monday at Saint Felicitas and Perpetua Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery.

Graveside Rites For A 2c R. D. King
Graveside services at Forest Lawn Memorial Park were conducted Monday for A 2c Ronald Darrell King 22 who died in El Paso Texas June 1 in a highway accident. Rev Crawford W Brown officiated. Airman King son of Mr and Mrs Robert E King of Adair street was born in Los Angeles and had lived here 18 years. He attended Huntington school and Southwest Military Academy and was graduated from South Pasadena High school. A Korean War veteran he had been in the Air Force two years, one and a half in Tripoli. He was a member of the 334th Bomb Squadron 95th Bomb Wing at Biggs Air Force Base El Paso where military funerals were held last Saturday.
