City Plans Talks on Robles Site Purchase Price
City leaders and San Marino Foundation heads will meet next week to begin negotiations on acquiring the seven acre Robles avenue property for a future playground. Same Story Different Car At Granada Crossing
William T. McNeal a 64 year old San Gabriel resident at 200 West Live Oak was driving east on Huntington when he stopped at Granada and turned south onto the tracks. A second car crossed from the west distracting him and the train struck. The car slid 47 feet with damage only to the right fender and door. The PE train operator was uninjured.

Blood Bank sees limited donor turnout in December drive
San Marino Red Cross reports ninety nine pints of blood pledged for the military demand of eight thousand pints this December. Of 100 appointments, 48 no shows limited the 109 donors. 11 were rejected after screenings.
