Forster Ranch Park Timeline Starts In 1988 Master Plan
The Forster Ranch Community Park was designated as a city park when the 1988 Parks and Recreation Master Plan was adopted. Land was deeded by Estrella Properties in the mid 1980s to meet park fees. The history outlines master planning with Capistrano Unified School District from 1987, phase one facilities, Centex funding, joint agreements, and phased development through 2002 with bids adjustments and design changes.
