Publicity halts railroad horn test at San Clemente crossings
The Orange County Transportation Authority canceled a public demo of seven pedestrian crossings near San Clemente after the local Orange County Register disclosed the test. OCTA says the 80 decibel stationary horns are not yet ready for public viewing and will undergo unannounced testing and refinements before a future demo to collect feedback.
