ROP model boats run aground near Capistrano Beach

San Clemente High School students in an ROP 3-D model making project watched three scale boats reach the Pacific hazards as GPS logs show two vessels drifting 37 miles south of Capistrano Beach toward Hawaii. The Humuhumunukunukuapuaʻa, America, and Kanaloa were recovered. relaunch planned with lessons learned.
