Driver sought after SUV hits skateboarder twice
Sheriff's deputies seek the public's help identifying a gold Lexus SUV with a Nevada plate that struck a teenage skateboarder at Ola Vista and Avenida Santa Barbara in San Clemente on August 22 at 1:20 p.m. The vehicle rolled the stop sign, hit the skater again as it fled, and remains unidentified. A Monday stop of a similar gold SUV proved unrelated. The victim, 16 year old Hunter Bogert, suffered a chipped pelvis and other injuries. Anyone with info is urged to call 949-425-1860.
