American takes key Judas role in Oberammergau style Passion Play
San Antoninos attending the Sunken Garden Theater Passion play Wednesday night will see Dr. Bertram Willoughby, a Congregational minister and longtime Passion devotee, portray Judas in the German production. He has previously spoken at Oberammergau and has led American Passion efforts in Bloomington and elsewhere. Heinrich Ortman, 20, plays Christus and has been in Oberammergau as a child. the cast travels with aviator connections and theater veterans.
