Several hurt in street mishaps in San Antonio
A series of Monday and Monday night accidents left several San Antonio residents under medical care. C W Chism, 10, was taken to Robert B Green hospital after a collision between a motorcycle and a San Antonio Fabri Service company truck at Brooklyn Avenue and Filmora Street. Benae later moved to Baylor hospital in stable condition. Jim Griffith, 532 Dawson Street, treated at Robert B Green hospital for minor injuries after being knocked down pushing a wheelbarrow on East Houston Street near Cherry Street by a motorcycle officer and others. Helen Newton, 10, 620 McKinley Avenue, struck by a car on South Prega Street. Marguerite Kesen, 5, 830 Unmar Heret, knocked down by a car on her street corner. Sarah E Hadley and William Hadley, 500 Higaby Avenue, suffered minor bruises in a collision at South Presa and Carolina streets.
