About 300 delegates and 100 delegates wives attended opening talks at the Southern States Accountants convention at the Plaza hotel. G Russell Brown presided for the Arkansas Society. main speaker Carman G Blough of the American Institute of Accountants led the program with other speakers from Pennsylvania Florida Georgia and Kentucky. Schedule includes cocktail party at 6 p.m. banquet at 7 p.m. and dance at 9 15 p.m. plus an informal Noche de Fiesta at La Villita from 6 p.m. to midnight Tuesday.
