J. field. Quarterback Tommy Noonan starred for Zeta with Arthur Harper and LeBarron key for Phi Delta Rhos.
Frost National bank basketball team schedules a weekend game with the Ninth Infantry at the Twenty third Infantry Gym Fort Sam Houston after a week off. Ed Howe at the bank is handling inquiries and potential future dates. The Bankers seek games with St Henry Homers St Anthony's Jackers Central Buttons and Jefferson Mustangs.
Under a city agreement with San Antonio and pending federal court approval, telephone rates for some classes have been reduced and refunds issued to current and former customers. refunds cover overpayments from April 21, 1928, with 6 percent simple interest. December 26, 1935 marks rate changes, and refunds depend on the payment period. A staff of 50+ will examine accounts of over 31,000 current and former customers, compute amounts, verify signatures, locate missing former customers, and mail thousands of checks, aiming for speed, accuracy, and satisfaction.
Refund checks will be mailed to present customers entitled to them in the same order that monthly telephone bills are mailed. The approximate dates for mailing checks follow.
The company will mail refund checks to former customers in alphabetical order after current refunds are complete. Many recipients have moved, so locating them will be harder. A Notice of Refund will be mailed to latest known addresses, and return of the notice will speed delivery.
