Two Jail Men Will Retire From Southern Pacific Rail
Thomas Crowley aged 65 of 2819 Saunders and J T Osman 202 Eleanor Avenue also 65 retire after 41 and 47 years with Southern Pacific railway. Crowley worked in the repair shop since 1903 on the same lathe and will spend time fishing. Osman served mostly in the North Hackberry street office after brief Cuero and El Paso transfers and will rest and pursue hobbies.

Seattle December reports Pan American Airways plans a new T4 passenger clipper for transpacific service in early February. Boeing clipper will follow flight tests by the Civil Aeronautics Authority before an exact start date. Transpacific fares are expected to be reduced.
