Rotary Christmas Tree Lights for Orphans Gift Drive
The Rotary Club will erect a large tree decorated with hundreds of colored electric lights crowned by the Rotary emblem. Orphans from local orphanages will be taken to the tree on Friday evening, December 23, for brief exercises and a band concert. Rotarians will distribute gifts to orphans and other city children, a project costing about 2500 dollars funded by Rotarians and a Majestic sketch. The motto is Service, Not Self.
