Three Serious Traffic Mishaps Injure Three In City
Three people were hurt in a rapid sequence of crashes on West Travis and North Laredo streets Tuesday morning. A horse and wagon, and two cars collided near a busy intersection sending two riders to hospital with non serious injuries. Police ambulance crews transported the injured to Robert Be. Grern Memorial hospital where doctors termed their conditions not likely to worsen.

Two Ton Awning Collapse Crashes in City Street
A two ton awning and wall collapsed onto a sidewalk near 617 West Commerce Street at 7 20 Monday morning. Pedestrians narrowly escaped injury as debris totaled about 1000 dollars in damage to the building owned by F. W. Walch. Firemen removed debris and dangerous awning sections from the area.

Fire Destroys Block on North Flores Street
A major blaze damaged the rear basement and mercantile portion of a building on North Flores Street. Firemen say the cause is undetermined after a one and a half hour fire. Loss is estimated at 86,000 with insurance around 20,060. The George Aligelt estate owns the property near Waseraan Company. The Waseraan factory sustained about 3,000 in damage. buildings are connected by an underground passage.
