WAR ASK MEN SEE VETERANS AT HOSPITAL
A cleanup squad in the city to speed compensation claims for disabled ex service men visited the bureau of war risk patients at Fort Sam Houston. They interviewed tuberculosis and long standing cases, gathering medical records to forward to Dallas and Washington for faster action. Hospital and Red Cross officials stress the relief of knowing compensation is coming for patients, many of whom are in need and awaiting treatment results and funds. The team will continue interviews Tuesday at the Army Y.M.C.A. on Avenue E to receive veterans from multiple Texas counties.
