Hoover Cancels Cabinet Meet Amid Away Chiefs

Navy probes grounding of Saratoga in California
Divers began a thorough inspection of the U S S Saratoga after it grounded on a sand bar off Sunset Beach California. Navy board of inquiry arrangements were started to determine responsibility. New York report says Baby Lindbergh, second son of Colonel and Mrs Charles A Lindbergh, is a native New Yorker per birth certificate filed with New York heart department. Radium Needles Recovered From Garbage in Florence
In Florence Alabama on August 19 a hospital owed needle loss was recovered by Professor A Ste Dunstan from Auburn. Using three sensitive electrostopes he searched an oily garbage pile and found two radium needles worth 1740 dollars almost undamaged.
