Mail From France Pouch Brings War News to San Antonio

A special war pouch from the American Expeditionary Force arrived in San Antonio with letters home. Postmaster George Armistead confirmed it is the first direct return of such a pouch to the city, formerly routed via New York. Pulmotor Equipment Heads For San Antonio Fire Dept

The San Antonio Fire Department plans to equip with a pulmotor and two self rescue apparatus to aid entry through smoke. Chief Goets signed the requisition. the pulmotor should arrive next week.
