Washington, Aug 18. The Interstate Commerce Commission denied Del Rio and Northern Railway Co. permission to build 132 miles of track from Bonors to Quemada Texas. The line would pass Vel Verde Edwards Sutton Emmiey Maverick counties. The commission found no urgent public need or great convenience to justify construction at this time. It suggested extending mileage could be done economically by Southern Pacific, which showed readiness to build as needed.
