Grand Jury Indicts Sheriff Hauck's Grandson and Woman
The Bexar County Grand Jury indicted Dudley Charles Sanford, Hauck's 71 year old grandson, for possession of methamphetamine and for a sawed off shotgun found during a February arrest. Betty De Leon, 25, Fulton, was indicted for attempted murder of her 2 year old son after officers found eight tranquilizers and a bed scene at the residence. Sanford is free on $70,000 PR bond. De Leon remains jailed on $20,000 bond. Sanford's 1972 robbery sentence followed by his 1975 parole are noted, along with the death of Sanford's younger brother in a 1972 police shooting.
