Seguin Official Charged With Theft in Check Fund Shortage
Seguin authorities charged county attorney staffer Juanita Calderon with theft over 20 dollars after an audit showed a shortage of about 9,000 in funds from bad check and fine payments. The case will be handled in the October term. the audit found an 8.15 percent discrepancy and new procedures were enacted to strengthen oversight.
