Mission Festival Set September 22
The annual Mission Festival of Bethel United Church of Christ near Manchester will feature a missionary and a hospital chaplain as speakers on Sunday September 22 with services at 10 am and 7 30 pm. The Rev Herbert W Hillebrand head chaplain of the University of Michigan Hospital will speak in the evening on the work of the chaplain with hospital patients.

Election inspectors barred unregistered voters at polls
The inspectors of election in this State and all districts shall not receive the vote of any person whose name is not registered in the registration book of the Township Ward or Precinct where the voter offers to vote. This is provided under Act 116 PA 1954.
Transfer of Registration Rules for Address Change
Any registered elector may transfer registration to a new address within the township city or village by signed request or in person. The clerk updates the registration cards with the new ward and precinct numbers and file placement. Transfers are not made after the fifth Friday before any election unless the holiday shifts the deadline to the next working day.
