Phone alert praised after Forensic Center escape in Ypsilanti

York Township officials credited the township Y.S.H. phone alert system and alarm with notifying residents about three inmates who escaped from the State Forensic Center at Ypsilanti State Hospital. The trio were recaptured by Tuesday morning, with two found on the grounds and one on Morgan Rd.
