Hoover Nets Top Returns in Fiscal Year Results
Hoover Ball and Bearing Company reported record sales for the year ended July 31 at 258,864,000 up 17 percent from 220,721,000. Pre tax earnings reached 27,759,000 vs 22,300,000 last year. Net earnings were 13,659,000 or 3.54 per share, up 21 percent and 22 percent per share. A subsidiary formed March 1, 1973 shifted about 12,000,000 in bear ing sales from 1973 results.
