Boundary Commission delays decision on 136 acre annexation
The Boundary Commission gave no quick answer on annexing 136 acres of Loch land into the city. Five members led by David Calhoun will study all aspects for at least three months, with debate centering on whether Saline waste water plant can handle added sewage. The hearing revealed widespread local opposition and the group promising a careful, fact driven decision. Louis Andrews spoke for the annexation group and outlined efforts over two years to gain approval.
